  I live in Charlotte, NC and am a chaplain with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc and work on their prayer line as well. I visted Central Baptist because I was visiting my family in Olean, NY. A congregant asked my sister, who is on oxygen and has a leg brace, if she would like a ride and then asked her if she would like to attend church on Sunday. I told my sister that I would like to go with her and she was happy to have me do that as she has never attended church before.
  
  We went to the ladies Sunday School and the ladies welcomed us with open arms taught the bible in a very understandable way. The service had simple music and wonderful time of prayer. The pastor gave a powerful, yet understandable message and my sister loved it. It is evident that this pastor still has a passion for people. They sponsor a woman from Haiti that gave a report that Sunday.
  
  My sister stayed in the church and was baptized a few months later and they welcomed her into membership. She is growing in leaps and bounds in the Lord and has a true church family. Our family is not close and she has people now that truly look out for her well being. What a gem in a small town.
